This is a run from April 2019 in the Illvelo Still mode. I wanted to beat 10bil before uploading a recording but haven't managed to do that yet and I haven't played it much anyway since because yayyy procrastination. So in the meanwhile here's this 9.7 billion run that was sitting in my hard drives for too long. As far as I know there isn't even any high-level run of Illvelo Still on da world wide internetz webz at the time of posting so even if my score isn't the one I wished for, this should be a useful showcase of how this mode plays like. Oh wait a sec, now that I think about it there's also some of the runs I did on stream here : https://www.twitch.tv/m_knight_jul/vi... though none of them were scoring as high as this run for some reason. And yeah, it seems like there is no other guy who posted good videos of this mode, though I would like to be proven wrong hehehehe. Illvelo Still is a bonus mode found exclusively in Radirgy Noa Wii. It plays like Illvelo Easy with the same tweaks and adjustments, but the weapons you have are those from Radirgy Noa. 1 is the wide green shot, 2 is the sideways yellow shot, and 3 is the red X-shaped shot. The speed diferences between the shots are also there though the speeds seems a little bit different from the regular Illvelo ones. At least 1 in Still feels a bit faster. Other non-directly gameplay-impacting changes include the ship being orange, the loading screens being shorter and the loading eyecatches to be different. As a result of those minor changes, most of the strategies stay rather similar. That said, depending on the shot types you get, some bonus stages may have to be tackled differently. I am especially thinking of the one in Stage 4 with all the bat-like ennemies falling quickly and trying to run away at the bottom of the screen from the sides. (Bonus stage 101) How is it not a massive pain without 1? You can even see how I accidentally pick up 2 right before that very specific bonus stage and spectacularly fail it as a result. Bwahahahaha. To avoid having to change things too much I stick with the green shot for most of the run since it plays like the regular Illvelo 1 shot. The red shot is supposed to be quite powerful though so I use it to get stage 5's midbosses. Maybe I need to use it during more portions of the game to get beyond 10 bil?
