Hi friends! Today we'll have a last look at what used to be one of the biggest red-light district outside of Seoul. It officially closed down back in June 1st and now it's in full remodelling. Some coffee shops and photo shops started opening up while the rest of the old district is being teared down. We can still see a couple untouched prostitution windows along the street. Suwon Station Jipchang Village is now disappearing into history. This is the first time in 60 years since Suwon Station and the intercity bus terminal were built in the 1960s in Gogodong-dong and Maesan-ro 1-ga, Paldal-gu. A place that was once crowded enough to visit ‘expeditions’ from Seoul or Chungcheong due to convenient transportation. The days when they were famous as a local townhouse in Gyeonggi Province along with Pyeongtaek Station Sam-ri, Paju Yongju-gol, and Dongducheon Saengyeon 7-ri are coming to an end. The alley of Jipchang Village, which was about to be closed, was ugly.
