Thankfully this single wide was mostly floored with linoleum so it didnt take long to get the last of the carpet out. But if we thought this was going to be a quick "rip and flip," the floor had other plans. Originally this trailer had a brown carpet that was eventually replaced with a green carpet. Between both carpets there was what felt like thousands of industrail staples we had to remove from the subfloor. In this episode: • Staple Hell: We spend hours on our hands and knees pulling up hundreds of staples. (Our backs may never be the same). • The Last Square Inch: Saying goodbye to the final piece of dingy, abandoned trailer carpet. • The Reality Check: We discovered some water damage in the subfloor. We’re walking you through the extent of the rot and how we plan to fix it. • Bare Bones: Seeing the entire living space without carpet for the first time! Renovating an abandoned trailer is a rollercoaster, and today we hit a bit of a dip—but that’s all part of the process of bringing this place back to life. Thanks for sticking with us through the dust and the surprises! #OffTheRailsFarmstead #SingleWideRenovation #AbandonedTrailer #DIYDemo #SubfloorRepair #FarmsteadLife #HomeRenovation
