The bronze Eagle that stands tall center court on the first floor was a popular meet up spot in the store. We say goodbye to The Christmas light show that began in 1956 and the Dickens Village which began in 1984-85. This will be your last chance to see either of these shows which have been a holiday tradition for many, many families. I am glad it was brought back one more time. The stores final closing (Macys) was back in May of this year. I am glad I was able to see the Dickens Village today and will return before the last showing of the light show. Its hard to believe a tradition that has lasted so long will be no more. Many adults in line use to visit every year with their parents when they were little are now bringing their grandchildren to see the show that they too once seen at a young age. I hope you enjoyed the video. I had to move rather quickly as to not hold up the ones behind me that were there to view the show just as I was. All in all I enjoyed it and will miss it when its gone.
