What is it that keeps us faithful to God? According to Roman chapter 10, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard in the word of Christ. We also find that those who have left the word throughout the scriptures are those who leave God. So what do we have to do? We have to hold on to the word of God and Jesus as if our very lives depend on it. Because in reality, our spiritual lives do truly depend on the word of God. In this sermon we will discuss the pitfalls of what takes place when people leave the word, and what we can do to make sure to hold on to it. Amen!
