Filmed 1/13/26 4:27PM On January 13th, I heard that NS 8100 was leading 287 and was close by, so I rushed to Bishop Road to catch it and after 10 minutes of waiting, I caught my first leading heritage unit. This is my third heritage unit catch, but my first one leading which was awesome. As you can see nothing has changed since I last recorded a month ago (two months from publish date), and you can see I setup on the other side again to get a wide shot of NS 8100 "Nickel Plate Road", sadly a car slightly blocked the right signal, but it wasn't as bad as what happened at Sain Road back in July 2025, so I wouldn't say my video got ruined, but that's why I don't do this side that often, plus my new tripod doesn't really fit well where I put my old tripod last time I recorded this side, but I not gonna use this footage too much in compilations, only for best train catches or unless I really need to. Either way I'm glad I was able to get this crossing again, still wish the GS Type 1 was still here.
