We spent two days trekking the hills and rice paddies of Sapa with a great group of people from Republik Backpackers in Hanoi. We booked the trip through the hostel for $55 per person, which included an overnight bus to Sapa, one nights accommodation, all meals, two days trekking, return bus and one more night in Republik. It was absolutely freezing in Sapa but thankfully we'd all stocked up on North Face gear from Hanoi before the trip. We trekked 11km on the first day and another 7km on the second with our tour guide and other locals who accompanied us and sold us bracelets, bags and scarfs on the hills. The food was delicious and the portions were huge, certainly enough to keep us going for two days. Well worth a visit if you have time while in Hanoi. Music: Artist: Cartoon (ft.
