Shriners Children’s School Screening Clinics are an initiative by the award-winning healthcare system specializing in life-changing care for patients diagnosed with orthopedic, spinal cord, cleft lip and palate, and burn-related conditions. The purpose of the clinic is to make the world-class care offered by Shriners Children’s available to more children in more places, further fulfilling the system’s century-old mission to provide treatment to all children in need – regardless of a family’s ability to pay. If treatment is recommended after a school screening clinic, the patient is referred to a Shriners Children’s location specializing in that individual child’s diagnosis.
