The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday filed its reply in the Supreme Court and urged it to let the agency continue its investigation into Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. The Central probe agency also pleaded before the top court to allow the Enforcement Directorate to continue its probe into the financial angle in the actor’s death case. The CBI also strongly opposed the petition filed by the Bihar police seeking the court’s direction to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty, the main accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, told the Supreme Court on Thursday that the Patna FIR of July 25, could at best be regarded as a Zero FIR and transferred to the Mumbai Police. Zero FIR is an FIR lodged in any police station irrespective of the location of incidence or jurisdiction. In her written submission before the top court, Rhea also insisted that Rajput’s father has made baseless allegations against her. #SushantSinghRajputCase Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
