It's time for another episode of Auto Rewind! This week I'm bringing you another nostalgic look back at some of my early days of racing and motorsport, we're going back to 2002. I had signed up for an Autox school day with the MR2 and it was held at Candlestick Park in South San Francisco. We of course saw some pretty cool cars at this event, being driven the way they ought to be (flat out, having fun, on a closed course). If you are interested in checking out autocross for yourself, I strongly encourage it, it's a great learning experience and will teach you better car control not only for performance driving but I do think it will make you a safer and better driver on the street, for emergency situations you'll improve your responses and reactions to sudden events, maybe avoid potential accidents and maintain control of your car.
