Hear from the Winners of the 2026 Women in School Leadership Awards

In the Karl F. Dean Grand Ballroom, Myriam Rogers, superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools in Maryland, and Janeen Peretin, assistant superintendent of the Baldwin-Whitehall School District in Pennsylvania, were awarded the 2026 Women in School Leadership Award. These two women share their insights to successfully educating young students, and the importance of persevering and never giving up. In this video, Rogers and Peretin discuss their advice on they provide advice for aspiring women leaders in education. This video was produced by Mason Parker at the 2026 AASA National Conference on Education in Nashville, Tenn.
