Step 3: Isocitrate dehydrogenase catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to alpha-ketoglutarate. Step 4: Alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of alpha-ketoglutarate to succinyl-CoA.
