Pokémon Stadium 3, from the developers of two boring Pokémon games on GameCube. There's no story at all, just battle gameplay that's worse than in Stadium games. The Pokémon visuals and models are terrible compared to the original. The camera angles and camera are simply atrocious. There are no unique animations or attacks; the camera simply repeats the same move for every Pokémon. The Stadiums and original games always had damage numbers and move descriptions, but here, damage isn't shown at all, which is completely stupid. And instead of showing the descriptions and damage of moves during battles, you have to go to a separate menu. There's no description of what berries do. In the original games, all Pokémon were available, albeit with crappy moves. Here they only give you six Rental Passes, each with six pre-made Pokémon with mediocre moves. The original at least gave you the ability to swap items, but here you can't even swap items. The first playthrough is easy even with the most mediocre Pokémon. After the first playthrough, you can swap Pokémon from the rental pass by trading in battles. And only in one arena. And it's so poorly done: you can only swap between those participating in the battle and between one. If the enemy doesn't choose the Pokémon you want, you have to load up and start over. You can't collect Legendary and powerful Pokémon in the game. They only appear on enemies in other arenas, which is completely stupid. You can't create a interesting combo, and Pokémon with the best moves and abilities are only given to enemies. The first three moves of Pokémon are always the same, only the last one is different. Only the hold items are different. In double battles, you get a second set of moves. And yes, to beat the game, you also need to randomize it so that the Pokémon have different items. Because in the final arena, the rule is that no Pokémon can have the same item, and you can't swap items; you can only trade for a new one by entering the arena and randomizing.
