In this travel vlog, I explore Thái Bình Market (Chợ Thái Bình) in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. Along the way I speak Vietnamese with the vendors at this local Vietnamese wet market. I also try some very tasty passion fruit sugar cane juice (nước mía chanh dây) that has been selling for over 60 years here. The juice business has been passed down for three generations. This is a wet market as it sells some live animals, seafood; but it also has a bit of everything else including clothes and household items. Thai Binh Market is located on the corner of Cong Quynh Street and Pham Ngu Lao Street in the backpackers ward of District 1 HCMC. It is very close to the famous Bui Vien Walking Street, known for its bustling nightlife. The exact location of the market is: Thái Bình Market (Chợ Thái Bình) QM8Q+QJF, Đ. Cống Quỳnh, Phường Phạm Ngũ Lão, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh This market is a short walking distance for anyone staying in the Pham Ngu Lao area of District 1. Coming here is a unique cultural experience for anyone traveling to Saigon! Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed this travel vlog.
