As we continue our journey as democrats let us remember what it was, what it is and what it will always be. One Zambia, One Nation. 1st part Frank Each country has a story and each story has a beginning, so where does Zambia’s story begin? Reminisce when brave men and women left the comfort of their homes in pursuit for something greater than themselves. They said no to the cancer of colonialism & said yes to the call for freedom and unity. Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe, Kenneth Kaunda, Zanco Mutembo,, our freedom fighters ,these great conquerors were the beacon to ouir country’s victory that made history, needless to say, we salute you! 2nd Part Chiinga 27 th April 1993, was not a reason and will never be a reason to choose fear over hope but must unite Zambia against the threats of unity, tiyende pamodzi namutima umozdi. Our journey continues with our eyes fixed on the horizon as we uphold the meaning and promises of our democracy. Reme,ber what it was, remember what it is, remember what it’ll always be! 3rd part Namatama This is my Zambia, Your Zambia and Our Zambia, our mother land we pledge to protect and keep safe for all posterity knowing that in times division spoke louder than unity we keep these words close to our hearts, one Zambia One Nation, tribalism echoes within the cruelty of man towards man but we still say, One Zambia One nation. Oh Yes! One Zambia One Nation. Queen Zambia let's go, We're together X2 Zambia tiye, tili pamodzi X2 Let's walk together with one heart, tiyende Pamodzi namutima umodzi.
