Lo Chia-ling Asian Games silver medalist We had worked very hard to try and win a gold medal, but in the end, we failed to achieve that. It is a real pity. But I need to refocus. Although I was in the lead at the beginning, I got a bit careless in the last few seconds. Had I put on a better defense in the first round, I think the gold medal would’ve been mine. In her post-finals interview, Lin spoke with regret about her defeat. Toward the end of the first round, Lin was in the lead 6-5. But a roundhouse kick from her opponent just before the buzzer turned the score to 7-6, forcing Lin to settle for silver. Liu Chao-ching Lin Wei-chun’s mother Her opponent got points in the last three seconds. She completely overlooked that kick. It’s a pity.
