Caine picked his own name, as explained by gooseworx. Caine stands for Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity. Spelled backwards it’s ENIAC which was the first programmable digital computer in 1945. Bubble is an ai made by caine so again he picked it. Pomni couldn’t decide a name so caine’s slot machine picked one for her. The word pomni means remember in russian. Jax chose his own name. Jax is a type of software, but it could also mean jack rabbit. Gangle’s was picked by Jax. The word gangle means to move ungracefully, so jax was making fun of gangle’s unique walking animation. Zooble's name was inspired by Zoobs, a customizable toy from the early 2000’s. Ragatha’s name is a portmanteau of ragdoll and agatha. Kinger named himself to match his wife queenie. Kaufmo’s i think was taken from Koko the Clown who his design is based on, and the german word kaufman which means "merchant" or "salesman.".
