Anteriorly Subluxated IOL in pseudoexfoliation: Exchanging it with a new one.

Pseudoexfoliation is one idiopathic condition which causes progressive weakening of the crystalline lens zonules in the eye. This can cause subluxation or dislocation of the crystalline lens with time. The condition can contribute to dislocation/subluxation of the IOL also after cataract surgery has been done. This case presented with anterior subluxation of the IOL and along with pupillary capture of the IOL optic. The case was managed for distortion in the vision but more importantly because the prolapsed haptic was too close to the endothelium and the subluxation was progressive as noted during successive visits. The IOL with the capsular bag was explanted and a anterior chamber Kelman design IOL was implanted with excellent outcomes. The video demonstrates the course of disease and outcomes.
