Hi all, so after a few weeks break to refresh the mind I have made my way to South Downs Light Railway based at Pulborough Garden Centre in West Sussex, a 10¼ Gauge Railway with a length of just under mile it has a few tricks up its sleeve from good gradients to plenty of locomotives at their disposal. . As a First visit it was amazing to see that they have everything running like clockwork from the get-go and every train I saw on the day was full so is certainly a crowd drawer especially if your buying some plant pots. . Having got their early (as usual) i was lucky to catch the Loco rostered for today's service "PEGGY" being warmed up and prepped for the day with "IVOR" being trailered back home following last weekends successful "Narrow Gauge Gala". . All in all what a fantastic little railway on the grounds of the Garden Centre (who provide amazing food from their cafè) and will certainly ly be heading back in the future for one of their famous galas layer in the year. .
