Our Aerodigestive Program provides services for children with complex conditions that affect the respiratory and upper digestive tracts. These conditions can involve the airway, esophagus, lung, stomach and small intestine and can affect your child’s voice, breathing, sleeping, feeding, swallowing and growth. The Aerodigestive Program’s multidisciplinary clinic consists of several specialists, including ENT (ear, nose and throat) doctors, pulmonologists (lung doctors), gastroenterologists (digestive specialists), dieticians (nutrition specialists), feed-ing and swallowing specialists and anesthesiologists (pain management specialists). After your family’s clinic visit and testing, our team discusses treatment options that meet your child’s needs and goals. These may include medications, surgery, additional testing or observation to see if symptoms go away as your child gets older. We’ll communicate these options to you and answer your questions.
