The Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) returned to South Florida from March 25th to 28th, 2021. Justin Nystedt, Yacht Broker for Denison Yachting, takes us on a detailed tour of this one of a kind 1989 nautical gem that was designed by world renowned naval architect Jon Bannenberg, a legend in super yacht design. The great thing about this boat is that it maintains all of its original late '80s designer styling without having gone through a major refit to conform to modern aesthetics as is common in the industry. This by no means implies that this boat is dated. Everything from the massive beautiful flat screen in the salon to the two twelve cylinder MTU 12V2000 series main engines keeps this retro beauty up to date in the areas that matter. I really love this boat's cozy chic dining area with its skylight, elegant dumbwaiter, and light fixtures. The exterior design is, in my opinion, timeless and absolutely beautiful. You have got to see what's hiding in the floor of the master head! (SPOILER: You may have heard someone say they have to run to the bathroom but have you ever heard someone say they have to run in the bathroom?) HIGHLINE SPECIFICATIONS: YACHT DETAILS: 102' Oceanfast 1989 LENGTH: 102' (31.08m) LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale, FL ENGINES: 2 twelve cylinder MTU 12V2000 LAST UPDATED: Jul 14, 2021 ASKING PRICE: $1,899,000 CRUISING SPEED: 17 kn MAXIMUM SPEED: 27 kn MAX DRAFT: 3'9" BEAM: 23' 1'' Fuel Tank: 1 x 3000|gallon Fresh Water: 1 x 800|gallon Hull Material: Aluminum Cabins: 3 Heads: 4 Crew Quarters: 2 cabins with en suites (up to 4 crew members) From Denison Yachting: Highline was designed by world renowned naval architect Jon Bannenberg, a legend in super yacht design. Almost always stretching the boundaries of yacht design, Bannenberg developed admirers worldwide immediately upon his first masterpiece coming to life in 1968. His collection spans nearly 200 yachts ranging in size up to Larry Ellison's 138 metre Rising Sun. Highline was built to Australian Maritime Safety Authority standards at the Oceanfast shipyard in Henderson, Western Australia. This 31 metre, 102' Oceanfast was built for speed, and made for pleasure. Well ahead of her time in so many aspects mentioned herein, Highline still demands the attention of yachtsmen, luxury performance enthusiasts, and passerby's alike. Her sharp lines are so aggressive, you almost fail to notice her raised pilothouse on first glance. This exterior style gives a nod to Italian express yachts, as she far surpasses that competition in terms of interior volume. Two twelve cylinder MTU 12V2000 series main engines that were installed new in 2006, produce an astounding 1800 horsepower each. Her Rolls Royce KaMeWa water jets create a massive rooster tail at an exhilarating 27 knot top end. Justin Nystedt / (954) 654-5783 / JN@DenisonYachting.com For more info...
