Welcome to a new series on the channel 'Ultramarathon Tips & Advice'. Over the years of running ultramarathons, I've definitely made many mistakes and have learnt many valuable lessons. Hopefully in this short series we'll highlight some of the pitfalls and issues you can have when taking on your first ultramarathon, whether it'd be 50k, 100k or even 100 mile ultramarathon. We're not going to go into super detailed specifics but we'll highlight some of the common mistakes that can be made in training and on race day.
