Chasing the Valley Train

Taken on June 8, 2008 along the Conway Scenic Railroad. The train, led by GP7 No. 573, pulls into Bartlett, New Hampshire, having come from North Conway. At Bartlett, the engine runs around and the train heads back. It's then caught running over the 302 highway crossing just south of Bartlett and again at Glen, where the tracks parallel the road. Please excuse the shaky camera work near the end-- it's hard to hold a camera steady and wave to passengers at the same time. : ) It's kind of funny how the sight of a wooden parlor-observation car on the end of a domed streamliner can grow on you...
