Dyslexia Assessment as an Adult | My Experience

In this video, I’m sharing my experience of going for a dyslexia assessment as an adult. I filmed a little chat in the car on the way there, talking through how I was feeling beforehand, and then another on the way home, where I try to explain what the assessment was like and why it felt much harder and more emotional than I expected. Originally, I planned to wait and edit this video once my official report and results came back. But after sitting with it, I decided not to do that. This is something that’s happening in my life right now, and I wanted to be open and honest with you rather than waiting a couple of weeks to share it. So this morning, I filmed a short ending to explain that decision, why I chose to post this before having the formal diagnosis, and why sharing the process matters to me, even in the messy, uncertain middle.
