Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you're having an amazing day and no, this ain't clickbait, this happened for real! I did really get to ride not one, but TWO goods lifts at Athlone Town Centre! Huge thanks to Slavik from centre security for taking time out of his day to show me these two awesome lifts - I think they could be some of my new favourite lifts of all time, to be honest. Also seen in this little lift tour are some other lifts in Athlone - while I was there I thought I might as well update you guys on the other lifts. (All goods lift footage in this video was filmed with permission. You should never ever ever enter a service passage or ride a goods lift without permission - they are private areas reserved strictly for employees and it is unkind to building management for the general public to enter such spaces. This was pre-arranged and I was supervised by staff at all times)
