In this week’s devlog, I continued working on the intro cutscene and started filling in the missing pieces to bring it closer to my vision. I also designed two new levels - including one that challenges the player to coordinate three bots in tight spaces without collisions. On the technical side, I added a basic lighting system with configurable spotlight, omni contribution and surface normal influence - which already changes the mood of the levels quite a bit. And finally: rain and distant thunderclaps. The rain is based on a modified snowfall particle system, with added ambience and randomized thunder sounds to bring the stormy cutscene to life.
