What if you are disabled and living council home and is actively causing you daily harm from noise pollution perpetrated by neighbours for years, that’s affecting your emotional and psychological wellbeing. What then? Options? The council have not resolved the noise issue and has let it carry on for years after making multiple complaints. Refused medical housing application on the basis that noise is not medical issue. Had legal advice that I have to now make a homeless application. I’m scared I will lose my flat. Any advice would be most helpful 2. She wants to approach the council as she fears she is going to become homeless and is now unemployed and on UC & cannot afford private rent aswell as being in her current mental state. Does she have a case or will the fact that she is coming from private rent, hinder her application in any way 3. What can a family do if the 56 days of the relief duty have passed and council not responding to emails about the main housing duty? This concerns family with children after a court possession order. 4. what rights does a person in temp accommodation have after an emergency in the house such as a fire/ arson, should.. they be left with no housing support and should they be allowed to be placed into air BnBs and moved every 7 days. and who can they further case to Person/ people were in small shared hmo with main duty 1a. Regarding sending complaints about the BnB moves who should it be addressed to if multiple housing officers and admin are involved? 5. hi team,with the digital ID coming,when I refuse can the council or landlord throw the petsons out? 6. If complaints been submitted regarding housing officer, are they allowed to continue shouting at vulnerable tenant at their door & disrespecting their rights to privacy!? 7. How can main housing duty affects banding on housing register? If a family is in a higher banding due to overcrowding and homelessness application. What happens if they get housed under the main duty in temporary accommodation, will they lose the overcrowding preference, then their banding gets reduced 8. Councils don't have properties. Wiltshire council state they can't help you if you have a debt with a landlord. Run by landlords association, it is impossible to get housing. 9. If a person wins a section 204 appeal against a local Council at County Court ( unsuitable accomodation because of mobility problems ) and is owed a main housing duty will the Council act quickly to help the person secure suitable accomodation ? Could you please explain how the process would look like ? Thank you 10. Joint tenancies – pros / cons 11. if PHP done with incorrect information by HO and got option to review is it good to review. 12. a friend is homeless intentionally and has been sleeping on streets and has been assaulted by abusive ex partner and went to the police. the council still won't help her. is this normal??? 13. HO forget to give Php after 7 weeks the applicant remind HO. now HO close the prevention case after next day and gave the family relief duty. and she gave option for review to finish the prevention
