Shot and edited by the masterful Frank Huang (Maximum Volume Silence, Relapse Records), expect a murderously spooky tale of heavy metal and homicide at the hands of a blood-hungry Lamia prowling the cemeteries of New York City. Live footage was performed exclusively at Saint Vitus. Formed in 2018, Shadowland have self-released a demo, The Watcher EP (cassette, 2019, supported by an East Coast tour), and Lost City (7”, 2020). They are currently writing a full-length record while searching for a label for its release. The band will enter the studio in November 2020 to begin demoing new material. Described by one astute commentator as possessing the looks of Sacrilege and the sounds of Judas Priest, Shadowland represents NYC slime at its finest.
