Don't Wait, Just GO | Overlanding Baja, Mexico | Pan American Highway

How do you define the start of a journey? Was it when you first conceived the idea? When you took the first step towards the goal? Or at some point down the road, where there's no turning back? Driving the entire Pan American Highway has not been a linear path for us. When we got back to the continental US after exploring Alaska & Canada, we took a break from our trip. We had some big vehicle changes to make, and friends & family to spend time with. We got caught up in the fun of skiing, relaxing with loved ones, and enjoying the comfort of being in our home region. But after a few months off the road, we realized that if we were ever going to realize our dream of driving from Alaska to Argentina, we better get moving! So, today is the day where there is no turning back. The truck is packed, the bills are paid. Let's drive to Mexico! In this chapter of our PanAmerican trip, we get back to Baja and explore some places new and old. We deal with crazy wind storms in Bahia de Los Angeles, interact with the incredible gray whales of San Ignacio Lagoon, float in the salt flats of Guerrero Negro, and drive a challenging off-road route where things get a little loose on our way to San Juanico! Though the first 2 weeks of our time back in Mexico were exciting, we know that there are SO many incredible adventures ahead of us. We plan to be on the road for at least 18 months on our way to Ushuaia- are you coming with us?!
