It has been filled with sickness, financial stress, political and racial tension, war, and even death. With all of our differences, so many of the struggles listed above ironically are things we all have in common. My hope while composing "Soon" was that it could be a prayer that everyone shares--something that we all join together in offering even if we can't yet see eye to eye on much else. Though it may sound different in each language, culture, and tradition, we all have the same hope: "Soon, may peace abound again. Soon, may angry warring hearts mend. Soon, may ever-fading sighs strengthen in the light, renewed." We're ready for a miracle to happen soon.
