Makati is the financial hub of the Philippines with the highest concentration of multinational and local corporations in the country including the trading floor of the Philippine Stock Exchange. The shopping malls that are located at the Ayala Center complex include Greenbelt, Glorietta, Park Square, and The Link. The Ayala Center is also home to 3 department stores namely, SM Makati, Rustan's, and The Landmark. 5 Star hotels within walking distance of Ayala Center are: Shangri-La Makati, New World Hotel, Dusit Thani, Holiday Inn, Ascott, Fairmont Hotel, Raffles Residences and the Manila Peninsula. Additionally there are weekend street markets: The Salcedo Saturday Market and Legazpi Sunday Market which are popular open-air community markets.
