It's not really based on the song in any other way. Third note: This is by far the hardest I've worked on a video so far, and still, I'm ticked off with the ending; it just wouldn't work for me. But alas, here it is. Fourth note: This video has a plot and a story; the plot/story is below. Fifth note: The blue scene towards the beginning shows what Elizabeth wanted but never actually got. Plot: Elizabeth was on the Black Pearl with Jack and the others, but she was in love with Jack, and getting tired of him talking about all the girls he was supposedly falling in love with. So, she returned to Port Royal, leaving Jack and Will to go pirating. But, shortly after Elizabeth left the ship, Jack and Will severed ties, and never saw each other again. Now, Elizabeth is in Port Royal, and sees Jack sailing for the docks. She immediately goes to see him, and of course she is incredibly happy at seeing him again, because she's in love with him...still. Not long after Jack has returned, however, he gets arrested. He tells Elizabeth he's sorry, though she doesn't know what for, and as Norrington drags him off Elizabeth tries to figure out why he said he was sorry, but it's no use; she can't work it out. Later that night, all she can think about is Jack, so she goes to see him in his cell. He smiles; he knew she would come to see him sooner or later. Instead of asking him what he was sorry for, which was why she wanted to see him anyway, she tells him through the bars of his cell that she loves him. He lies back down on the floor and says nothing, behaving as if he doesn't care. Elizabeth is both angry and upset, and storms off, leaving Jack alone, regretfully thinking about what he's done. A few days later, pirates attack Port Royal, and Jack watches helplessly and sadly as Elizabeth is taken. He immediately vows to go and get her as soon as he can as she's taken on board the pirate ship. She doesn't see who their 'leader' or Captain is. Instead, all she can think about is Jack and his 'beautiful eyes'. After a while, Elizabeth is sitting alone on the stairs below deck, and Will comes around the corner. He's been the Captain all along. He starts talking to her, and Elizabeth soon catches on that he thinks they can have a life together. Elizabeth tells Will that she loved Jack, and she leaves Will shocked and alone as she runs back up the stairs. Meanwhile, Jack has escaped the prison cell, and is using his compass to find Elizabeth, sailing in only a small boat with only his rum for company. Will, angry with Elizabeth, makes her walk the plank, and leaves her stranded upon an island alone. Not long after, Jack arrives upon the same island, directed by his compass. He thinks the island is deserted apart from him, and is a bit ticked off at his compass for leading him there. He stays on the island for a few days. One day, he is walking around the island, still rather miffed at his situation, when he stops. He's seen Elizabeth. He's not sure if it's really her, until she, too, stops walking, looking at the spot where he's stood. Without any further hesitation, Elizabeth runs upto him, and they share a passionate kiss on the shore. They break apart and Jack unknowingly answers Elizabeth's question; 'What were you sorry for?' by saying, 'I love you'. He was sorry for the way he ignored her before her return to Port Royal and the fact that he never told her before.
