I'm in the processes of setting up my new workshop after moving. A new assembly table / workbench is a critical part of my new shop design. This workbench has a number of features. Under the table tool trays, french cleats, laminate top (do not use melamine use MDF), 8 drawers, through cabinet storage, closed door storage, built in flexibility to add a router lift down the road if desired, or even a built in shop vac for dust collection. Not to mention the retractable casters to make the whole thing mobile. WARNING - DO NOT use melamine like I did. Use MDF. After a few days the laminate began to lift . . . I am stupid.
