KANDY: Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession. Rising around a scenic lake, UNESCO-listed Kandy is home to sacred landmarks, landscaped gardens, and cultural museums. Beyond the city, a cloudy forest and tropical plantations roll across the mountain slopes providing plenty of hiking and wildlife-watching opportunities, while upscale resorts line the Mahaweli River. In this video, I have covered all tourist attractions around KANDY like Royal Botanical Garden ,Scenic Kandy Lake , Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. So i took TukTuk for royal botanical garden from my hotel which i booked through PICKME APP. I stayed in Lakewood Residence Hotel which cost me 50 USD (3200 INR)for 1 night including Breakfast.
