Developing my Yamadori Beech with AWFUL roots!

Enjoy the progression of my field grown Beech Bonsai over the period of one year. It has its first repot, an initial styling, and then an autumnal improvement! But, what should I do about those exposed roots? Let me know in the comments… I dug this Beech from Aveland Nurseries (field-grown) in Dec 2018 and left it in a plastic tub for 2 years to recover.
