Bob Elvis ⬇️ TRADUCTION DU TEXTE DE LA CHANSON EN ANGLAIS FACILE. ⬇️ TITLE : 8 Million Deaths (GENOST) 🇨🇩 VERSET 1: It all started in the East of the DRC, after Mzee KABILA had decided, to send back home, Rwandans and Ugandans; who had helped him chase away MOBUTU SESE. 1998, everything broke up, the country was being attacked by foreigners; Rwanda and Uganda wanted to share the Congo, but strangely, they disintegrated; But despite, Kisangani was being fought over; and in June 2000, they turned it into a battlefield, heavy weapons, tanks were shooting from everywhere. How many people left like guinea pigs? How many families were tested? How many false communes were found? The six-day war, I will never forget; it was from June 5 to 11, I will never forget; because the 6th was my birthday; but instead of celebrating it, I had 20km to do; we had to flee the war on the other side of the river, I saw exhausted mother fall to the ground. When I talk about it, I think about it, my heart hurts; I swear to you my brothers, my heart hurts! I can't forget these conscripted cadogo, all these victims of the war that we can't console. These long years spent in violence, These 8 million Congolese who died in silence! CHORUS 1: It's for these millions, these millions, these millions of dead; the war in Congo has caused 8 million deaths; 8 million deaths, 8 million deaths; 8 million deaths, 8 million deaths. VERSET 2 : (2X) I'm not making anything up, I'm only telling the truth, Nothing but the truth, it's only the truth. I know that all these dead will not be able to be resurrected, and that their criminals are covered in humanity; but still, we can honor them, a monument and a date that we can commemorate. They are our brothers and sisters, children of the homeland, forgetting them is like validating everything that has been committed. They left too soon, without knowing why, but they also had dreams like you and me; do not remain deaf and mute to these facts, even if you often are when it comes to making peace. I had to write this song, to pay tribute to them even in my own way. And if, for you, it had to remain a secret, know that for many, it is a regret! How can we forget the tears of all these mothers? The blood of innocents that flowed, these villages and old people who were burned. The war in Congo has now been going on for more than 20 years, history will testify that I stood up, that I fought and did what I could. I am only an Artist, not a politician; I am sad and I express it in music; but to tell the truth, you are the decision-makers, because deep down, you are the ones who will vote. Mr. President, do you love these people? Honorable deputies, do you think of the people? Just a date and a monument for all these dead, they are our brothers and sisters; our fathers, our mothers, let us honor them; even if it cannot resurrect them, but still their souls can have peace. CHORUS 2: (2X) It's for these millions, these millions, these millions of dead; the war in Congo has caused 8 million deaths; 8 million deaths, 8 million deaths; 8 million deaths, 8 million deaths..... --- Abonnez-vous à la chaîne : https://www.youtube.com/user/BobElvis... --- Retrouvez Bob Elvis sur : Facebook : / bobelvisofficiel Instagram : / bobelvisofficiel Twitter : / bobelvisoficiel Apple Music : / bob-elvis Spotify : https://open.spotify.com/artist/1ZLfr...
