Part 2 of my Canyon chronicles on the Roadlite AL SL 8.0. The SKS Raceblades PRO XL Matte Black are probably one of the most essential accessories to buy when you want to use the Roadlite as a practical everyday bicycle. A short summary of my first impressions: 1.Design: The Design matches perfectly with the Canyon Bike. Important to notice: I have the matte black version and not the shiny one! 2. Assembly: As an amateur when it comes to assembling stuff on bicycles, the montage was a bit tricky and took some time. An upside of the somehow tricky system is, however, that the mudguards can be adapted to different bike types and sizes. 3. Real-life test: The mudguards kept what they promise. After small adjustments, even heavy rain was no problem, and the Raceblades kept the water down. As this is the main criteria for mudguards, I would recommend them, when you want a flexible/removable solution for your bike. They are definitely not that robust compared to fix mounting options. I filmed the video on a rainy Saturday with a Canon 70d and a GoPro Hero 6. Edited and Graded in Adobe Premiere Pro.
