There are those who consider it to be the 100% electric interpretation of the precursor of compact sports cars, originally launched almost 50 years ago. Is that really how it is? Inheriting from the “normal” version all the improvements recently introduced across the range, but featuring several of its own style touches, both inside and out, the mechanics are where the main assets of the only member of the VW GTX family with rear-wheel drive only lie: 100% electric engine with 286 hp and 545 Nm; 5.9 seconds 0-100 km/h; maximum speed of 180 km/h; announced range of 605 km in the WLTP cycle; and chassis with specific tuning.
