Traveling Europe Alone With Absolutely No Plan

After 60 days alone in Europe I still have trouble wrapping my head around it all. I got to go see some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve always dreamt of seeing, I got to meet some of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and now I get to say that I’ve done it. All because I took the first terrifying step of booking the flight. I never thought I couldn’t do it, but it’s crazy to say that I did. And now I have these memories and experiences that I’ll bring along with me for the rest of my life. All because I decided to just take the first step. Some days sucked and I knew that would be the case, but some days I forgot I was even alone. After 60 days alone on a different continent I now understand the difference between loneliness and solitude, I now know that I’m capable of improvising in any given situation, and I finally now know how to take the bus. And in the end I think I did figure out a little more about myself. If you want to see the world, travel. If you want to figure yourself out a bit, travel, if you want to build confidence, travel. If you want to meet all types of new people, travel. Never ever ever underestimate your ability to just figure shit out.
