Bikerafting micro adventure | Paddling the Bungay Loop. Packrafts, Pedals and a Pint. Join me on a short micro adventure biking along some of the Angles Way and putting my Alpacka Caribou in on the West side of Bungay and paddling the Bungay loop and following the river down to Geldeston Locks. The great thing about Bikerafting is it gives you such a wide scope of adventures: Leave from home on your bike, paddle down the river, get out back on the bike and pedal to your night camping spot. The packraft being used here is the Alpaca Caribou which is specifically designed for bike rafting. The Caribou has a cargo fly on the rear which allows for gear storage inside the raft. The Bungay Loop is a well know route of the upper Waveney. The majority of people put in at Bungay Staithe but as the car park is currently closed the other options are Wainford Sluice or you could pay to put in at Outney Meadow.
