**Just a heads up this video is pretty long. I tried to make the video as short as possible, but at the same time didn't want to leave the fun stuff out. Hope you guys enjoy and come along for the ride** 3/8/2020 SoCal ETMB's Epic big ebike group ride. There was a total of 18 riders. It was a blast and I had a lot of fun. I should have conserved my battery more on the climbs. Used all the bikes battery for the climb up Harding and the rest of the ride was no battery for me. I probably had the smalled battery at 460Wh. Luckly not that much climbing after so it wasn't too bad. 21 miles.... 4k elevation gain..... this could just be SoCal's version of the Palm Canyon Epic ride. We met at Cook's Corner, than group shuttle to Rob's place (thanks Akos for the ride there). Harding trail was just a short ride from Rob's place. Harding is more of a long fire road type of climb that goes on for like 10+ miles. I probably would have not made this climb without an ebike. Once to the top theres about another mile of climbing to the peak and from there down to Joplin. I have never been on a trail like Joplin before. It's a raw natural trail and the conditions vary. Goes from somewhat flowy to steep, loose, rocky, and some exposure. Not hard, but for newbie's like me it was hard to go fast like the other guys who were flying down this trail. Once down to old camp there is a short climb up to Santiago TT, then time for the Luge. I haven't rode the Luge for over 10 years from when my last bike got stolen after I went biking at the Luge lol It so flowy and fun. I can't wait to come back here again!
