It took a little time for the Yukon capital to grow on me but in the end I was in love with this town and didn't want to leave. I think I expected a little more quaintness to it, but honestly, its ruggedness is what makes it so rad. Whitehorse is a really incredible outdoor and foodie town. With more than 2,000 kilometers of trails and every artisan food you can imagine, Whitehorse is an essential stop on Alaska Highway!
