Last year on a 13 hour trip the generator stalled two hours into the trip. It restarted but only for a short time. Each restart the generator would run for a shorter time until it reached the point where it would stall only minutes after starting. I replace the spark plugs, fuel filter and cleaned the carburetor and thought I fixed it. Fast forward a year and had a problem again on the same trip two hours in. On the return trip I did not run the generator until 1 hour left and it stalled within 10 minutes. That told me the generator was not over heating it maybe something else was going on.
