Gameplay of Gleamz Blaster on clam blitz. It's been a while since I've lasted used this weapon, so I'm giving it another shot. Thanks to @PrestonandTom9337 for requesting this weapon. Blaster is a short range weapon that does good damage, good AOE, can one shot opponents, okay fire rate, okay paint output, and solid mobility. The kit is pretty solid. Squid beakon is a sub weapon that allow you to place down a device that provides a jump point for you and your teammate. You can place down up to three squid beakon at a time. And crab tank is a special weapon that allow you to ride a mecha crab. While riding it, you can rapidly fire shots that progressively increase in fire rate the longer you fire and shoot a blob attack that can go over wall and has a big AOE. Your movement is quite slow, the mecha crab has tons of HP, and you can enter into ball mode to full protect yourself from enemy fire. Now I want to talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is quite good at poking around corners and ledges due to it damage and AOE. And you can instantly one shot an opponent if you hit a direct shot. But the weapon doesn't have great dps compare to other short range weapon. And sure, it can one shot opponents if you hit a direct shot, but you mostly be hitting the indirect shot, since you'll be jumping quite a bit when evading shot. So if your enemy get the first hit on you, you're more likely to get killed in that interaction. Enemies can also get super close and enter into your blind spots of your attack, making you have to rely on hitting your direct shots. And the paint output isn't that good. It's paint enough to be able to move for itself, but it not enough to quickly paint an area and quickly build up it's special. Squid beakon can provide jumping point for you and your team. This can help you and your team get back into the action if placed in a good spot. Squid beakon also allow your teammate to jump to the same beakon twice and will mark opponents who are near the beakon if you look at your map. But as good as squid beakon are as a sub, it doesn't help blaster when it comes to displacing opponents in a fight. The beakons are also pretty easy to take out and if you were jumping to the beakon and an enemies is near by to destroy it, you're most likely to get punish pretty hard. And crab tank is very good at applying pressure and controlling the area. The special has tons of HP, has long damage, and has way of applying pressure over terrain and shredding through opponents and objects. You can even enter into ball form to position yourself in a better spot or to fully tank enemy's shots. But mistiming your special can leave your pretty vulnerable, especially if you're being overwhelmed. You're still vulnerable from the side and behind and there's also plenty of specials that can counter crab tank. So when playing Gleamz Blaster, you want to focus on applying some aggro pressure. Utilize cover and flank or shark your opponents to close the gap and apply pressure. Utilize the AOE to poke around terrain and get the first hit onto your opponent. Place down beakons behind cover as you push up and when you build up your special, use the crab tank to displace and kill opponents from a long distance. Just remember to not overextend too much and maintain your ink output. Thanks for reading this and hope you guys enjoy the video.
