The Power Structure in Pokémon is unclear and bothers me that there can be so many games without a clear explanation. So I’ll make some educated guesses and try to get to the bottom of the situation. How can there be so much organized crime but also, like, no crime? Why is Pokémon training so easy but so little people do it? How could we learn to treat each other better through the lens of this stupid video game? Am I even qualified to answer these questions?
