Hey everyone! Here is 251-D-3553 seen working along the backroads between Ongar & Westmanstown while operating a 139 to Naas. I never normally record my locals but as this bus wasn’t really to full or anything I just decided why not record because you don’t often see Citaro’s from new or Ex British Operators as the ones that would normally work on stuff like LocalLink’s etc would probably be purchased from buses that originally would’ve worked with Dublin Coach as part as their Quickpark scheme which only ran for a couple of years. These 5 Citaro Hybirds were originally meant to be purchased by Bus Vannin in The Isle of Man but however they were a cancelled order so they were maintained by Mercedes and we’re giving seating layouts that look like the TFI seating, put in the TFI Colours and we’re then purchased by JJ Kavanagh & Sons, they originally had input announcements everytime the bus had to stop for passengers but they have being removed. These can be found today working on the 139 except for 3559 which can only be found working on LocalLinks. Enjoy!
