Target Audience This activity is targeted towards pediatricians, IM/P, and family practitioners. Statement of Need Our learners need the knowledge and strategies to assist in recognizing, evaluating and treating common and not so common problems presenting in a primary care setting, including when it is appropriate to refer. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 1. List common sports injuries in pediatric patients. 2. Discuss diagnostic protocols of common sports injuries. 3. Describe management of common sports injuries; including red flags.
