We kick things off talking about the Inspired Life! Women’s Weekend of Love, Light & Laughter coming to Quincy in April 2026, where I’ll be both an exhibitor and a speaker, sharing my talk on shedding the “shoulds” and breaking free from perfection, procrastination, and people-pleasing. From there, we dive into a much deeper conversation about rewriting your story, choosing a new narrative, and remembering that your past does not define who you are. You’ll hear a powerful story about hitting that rock-bottom moment and receiving a message of choice, and how that one moment became the catalyst for a whole new life of purpose, service, and sacred community. What I love about this conversation is how real and relatable it is. We talk about the addiction to busyness, control, and comfort, and how often we stay in patterns that feel familiar even when they’re suffocating our soul. We explore the difference between fear-based choices and conscious choices, how to recognize your “lower self” stories versus your higher self truth, and the importance of learning to feel safe in discomfort instead of numbing out with food, busyness, or overdoing. I share my own experience of realizing I wasn’t fully walking my talk and choosing to recommit to my practices like journaling, meditation, and being in relationship with myself. We also talk about energy, awareness, and how to gently recalibrate in the moment instead of judging ourselves. This episode is a beautiful reminder that anything is possible when you’re willing to choose a new story, one conscious choice at a time.
