‘togher’, which means "lines" tranlsated from armenian, is a very personal song. It was born from the pressure of constantly hearing how life “should” be lived and the criticism I’ve faced for not following that script. Through the lyrics, I wanted to respond honestly: I respect the choices others make, but I can’t pretend to be someone I’m not. For me, living authentically means moving in my own direction, even if it looks foolish to others. This track carries both opposition and freedom. It’s not just about resisting expectations but about embracing individuality, the courage to walk a path that may be lonelier but truer. Though written and sung in Armenian, I hope its emotions and message will feel familiar to many, no matter the language. I hope it resonates with anyone who has ever felt misunderstood for choosing differently. The official music video reflects these ideas visually. I wanted to portray the rebellion of refusing to live by society’s rules of choosing self-truth over conformity. We filmed across several contrasting locations, each representing a different side of that struggle: structured vs. chaotic, controlled vs. free. Along the way, we introduced characters who, in their own ways, face judgment for not fitting in. The visuals play with contradiction: warm and cold tones, light and shadow, closeness and distance, showing the inner tension between wanting to belong and needing to be free.
