Hello Everyone, we are now at the Moraine Lake. Moraine Lake is a must place to visit in Banff. Its waters are the most amazing color, a vivid shade of turquoise that changes in intensity through the summer as the glaciers melt. Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal. We came here during the sunrise, sat beside the lakeside to absorb the sights and pure mountain air. We also did some hiking on the trails beside Moraine Lake. You can also explore further by canoeing and hiking. Moraine Lake an iconically jaw-dropping place that is sure to leave a lasting impression. Moraine Lake is around 70 kms and almost 1 hour 15 minutes drive from Banff. There are very limited parking spot beside the lake, and it gets full by midnight. So its a good idea to take shuttle buses like we did. Shuttle bus Round trip from Banff cost is $20 for adults and $10 for youth & seniors.
